About

Interior design you can check with a tape measure

Our mission is simple: make a good room plan available to everyone who is about to buy furniture — in true dimensions, with real products, before any money is spent.

The engine

A designer that speaks sizes and JSON

3DRoom is not an image generator. It is a small, honest piece of engineering built around one idea: a design is data.

Parametric three.js scenes

Every room is built in three.js from parameters — wall lengths, openings, ceiling height — not painted from a picture. That is why it stays true to size.

Claude as the designer

You talk to the designer in plain language. Claude reads your message and photos, plans the layout and answers with a scene, the way a human designer answers with a drawing.

Furniture are code builders

Every sofa, desk and lamp is a small program that builds the piece at its real width, depth and height, and points to the real product page.

{ }

Every design is a JSON scene

The result is a plain JSON file: a room, its openings and fixtures, furniture, light and sockets. That is why designs can be versioned, shared, exported and edited by chat.

Origin story

It started with one living room in Kyiv

3DRoom began with a very ordinary problem: a real living room of 17.8 m² in Kyiv, 3.42 × 5.21 m, with a balcony door, a radiator under the window and an entrance in an awkward place.

We designed that one room twelve ways — Japandi, Scandinavian, loft, minimalism and more — each time with real furniture, real sizes, a socket plan and lighting. Every layout was checked against a tape measure, not a mood board.

It worked so well that we turned the method into a product: type the size of your room or upload a photo, and get the same kind of plan in a minute.

What we believe

Three promises

Honest dimensions

If it does not fit in real life, it does not fit in the scene. We would rather change the layout than hide a problem.

Real products

Furniture with real sizes and links to the stores, so a design is something you can buy and build — not only look at.

Your data stays yours

Your photos and messages are used to build your design, deleted with your project, and never sold or used for ads.

The team

Who builds 3DRoom

A small team where every role touches the same product.

01

Product & engineering

Build the designer, the chat and the web app, and keep the engine fast and predictable.

02

3D & graphics

Write the three.js scenes and the furniture builders that make every piece true to size.

03

Interior design

Turn professional rules — passages, distances, ergonomics, light — into checks the AI applies to every layout.

04

Catalog & partners

Keep real products, sizes and links up to date, and onboard retailers and studios who bring their own catalogs.
